H ere's a real life drama that bomb bursts off the page. July 4, 2017 Soldier Boy is a book that needed to be written and needs to be read by everyone - adults and young adults as well. The book wasn’t only beautiful, emotional and fragile, it was also very well-written. The detailed account gave one a feel for the reality of that time in our country's history. Soldier Boy was excellent and action packed. It was fascinating that this book was composed of 2 stories. The resiliency of one man (Ricky Richard Anywar) in the face of so much adversity is an example for us all.

I wished the author spoke more about one of the characters named The Scholar. I found the conversations between him and the main character,
